A new international song and music video intended to express solidarity with Israel and the Jewish people has been released ahead of the upcoming third anniversary of the October 7 attacks. Titled "The Whole World Sings Together," the project features vocal performances representing 17 countries, including the United States, Israel, China, India, Brazil, Iran, Yemen, and Russia.
Dr. Mike Evans, founder of the Friends of Zion Heritage Center, created and produced the initiative. The project aims to honor the victims of the 2023 attacks while creating a shared moment of global remembrance. Organizers have invited people worldwide to watch, share, and sing along with the release on October 7.
The production draws inspiration from the 1985 charity single "We Are the World," which was created for famine relief. Evans compared the current effort to that historical precedent, stating that just as the world sang together for Africa decades ago, it must now sing together for the Jewish people. He emphasized that the anniversary must not be allowed to fade from public memory.
Released on YouTube, the song includes lyrics such as "walk beside you always" and "from the ashes." Organizers have summarized the overarching theme of the multinational collaboration with the phrase, "One song. Seventeen countries. One global chorus."
