Reading and sharing

Stories on Newsnibs are free to read. Share links as much as you like. You're welcome to quote a sentence or two with credit and a link back to the story. Republishing whole stories, or copying the site in bulk, needs our written permission.

Ownership

The stories, design and logo belong to Newsnibs. Photos belong to their photographers and are used under the terms of the source credited beneath them.

Scraping

Search engines are welcome. Scraping the site to republish or resell its content is not.

Accuracy

We work hard to get things right and we fix mistakes when we find them (see our editorial standards). Even so, the site is provided as is. Stories report events as they were known at the time of publishing and aren't professional, legal, medical or financial advice.

Links and comments

We link to other sites, and we aren't responsible for what's on them. Comments are run by Disqus; keep them legal and on topic, and we may remove ones that aren't.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Newsnibs and AITAC aren't liable for losses that come from using the site or relying on what's in it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
