Chrishell Stause, a star of "Selling Sunset," announced Monday that she and the Australian musician G Flip (Georgia Claire Flipo) have separated. Stause, 45, shared the news in an Instagram video, saying, "G and I are now longer together," and asked that people "treat this public separation with love and respect for each other." G Flip, 33, posted a written statement on Instagram confirming the split and asking for privacy.
"After 4+ years Chrishell and I are no longer together," G Flip wrote. "My head and heart are feeling very heavy right now." G Flip called the relationship "the best relationship I've ever had," spoke of "sad and dark periods," and said, "I will always love her."
Neither gave a reason for the split. Stause said she is still processing it and needs time to heal. She described the breakup as "really hard and stressful" and said she was stunned by it. "I am in love with this person, and I don't have all the information and reasons," she said. She also said, "I will always love G, and I don't ever really see that changing," and, "I feel like a little bit of a failure." On whether she would try again, she said she is "definitely never doing this again."
Cosmopolitan, citing a People source, reported on Tuesday that G Flip was the one who ended the relationship. No other outlet reports who initiated it.
The two met at a Halloween party in October 2021, both in skeleton costumes. Yahoo News reported that Stause wore a do-it-yourself thrift-store version and G Flip a designer one. Stause had ended her relationship with Jason Oppenheim that December. The couple confirmed their relationship publicly in May 2022, though Yahoo News puts it in early 2022. Stause came out as bisexual while they were together. The length of the relationship is reported variously: G Flip's statement says more than four years, Perth Now and the Express Tribune say four, and Yahoo News says nearly five.
In May 2023 they held a wedding ceremony in Las Vegas. The Express Tribune and E! Online describe the years since as a marriage of three years. Perth Now reported the ceremony was not legally binding, and Yahoo News calls it symbolic, adding that TMZ later reported no marriage license was filed. They renewed their vows in July 2023, July 2024 in Australia and July 2025 in Los Angeles. Perth Now places the 2023 renewal in Palm Springs, and HELLO! describes the Los Angeles celebration as medieval-themed.
Yahoo News reported that in 2025 the couple went through a "bumpy road" while trying to start a family through adoption and IVF, and that they appeared together on the cover of Us Weekly in May 2025. Stause wished G Flip a happy birthday on Instagram a month before the announcement. Perth Now notes the couple use they/them pronouns. It also describes this as Stause's second major split, after her 2021 divorce from the actor Justin Hartley, which followed four years of marriage.
